In the year 2023, fans of the literary franchise “The Chronicles of Narnia”, created by the Irish author CS Lewis In 1950, they were surprised by the announcement that the work will gain a new live-action adaptation, this time produced by Netflix and directed by GRETA GREWIGdirector known for her work in “Barbie” (2023).
Remember that this will not be the first time the plot will have won a feature with real people. One of its most popular versions is the Disney movie trilogy in the mid-2000s, when the studio adapted three of the saga’s seven books: “The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe”, “Prince Caspian” and “ The journey of the dawn pilgrim. ”
With the confirmation of the new adaptation, the fans were excited about the possibility of stories that are not yet to the big screen, are finally presented in the live-action format. In fact, in an interview with The Week, Jason Isaacsan actor who has already tested to Aslan, hinted that the first feature would adapt the book “The Wizard’s nephew”, the first in chronological order, but the sixth to be released.
Although information has not yet been confirmed, what we know is that, as reported by Puck News (via omelet), the adaptation is expected to hit theaters on the 2026 Thanksgiving day on November 26, and on Netflix at 25 December of the same year.

3. The Chronicles of Narnia: the journey of the Alvorada pilgrim (2010)

Synopsis: “After returning to Narnia to join Prince Caspian on a trip on the royal boat known as dawn pilgrim, Lucia, Edmundo, and his cousin Eustáquio, find creatures of the sea, dragons, and a band of lost warriors. As the edge of the world approaches, its impressive adventure in the sea comes to an exciting and uncertain conclusion. ”
