GOT7’s BamBam addressed romance rumors that surfaced months ago between him and BLACKPINK’s Jennie in a recent comeback interview
BamBamfrom GOT7, recently reacted to rumors suggesting a romance between him and Jenniefrom BLACKPINK, after photos of the two in Los Angeles spread on social media. The images, which date back to September 2024, showed the idols in a famous Japanese restaurant, which sparked speculation about a possible relationship.
During a recording for 1theK’s IDDP program on GOT7’s recent comeback, BamBam was asked about the photos, which quickly became one of the most talked about topics in Korea. The boy group member was direct and denied any romantic involvement, explaining that it was nothing more than a long-term friendship.
“It’s not a romantic relationship. We can go out and eat together as friends. They always think I’m dating someone when I’m with someone,” said the singer.
Furthermore, BamBam explained that the bond between the two goes back many years, since their trainee days, and that this facilitates casual encounters like the one that occurred. The GOT7 member also commented that both GOT7 and BLACKPINK have a close and friendly relationship, which makes it natural for them to find themselves in situations like this.
