A film about the war in Ukraine has been nominated for a BAFTA award

The British Film Academy has announced the nominees for the BAFTA awards. Among the contenders is the movie Rock, Paper, Scissors.

On January 15, the British Film Academy announced the nominees for the prestigious BAFTA film award in 2025.

Among the contenders in the Best British Short Film category is the film Rock, Paper, Scissors, starring Ukrainian actors Alexander Rudinsky and Sergei Kalantay.

The leader in the number of nominations is the film Conclave by Edward Berger – 12 nominations. Jacques Audiard’s Emilia Pérez followed with 11 nominations, while Brady Corbet’s Brutalist received nine.
