When will the (G)I-DLE film premiere in Brazil?

Over the years, K-pop has increasingly consolidated itself as a great global power, attracting a huge legion of fans in all parts of the world. The success of the musical genre can be easily seen daily, as it has become common to find references to South Korean pop artists everywhere.

On the internet, for example, it is not difficult to find advertisements about upcoming releases by K-pop groups and soloists, in addition to them always being present on the digital music charts. Outside of the small screen, in big cities, we can also see advertisements for shows and a huge variety of products inspired by the singers more and more frequently.

In recent times, another thing that has also become common is the showing of K-pop films in cinemas around the world. In addition to concert films, such as “BLACKPINK: THE MOVIE” or “SEVENTEEN TOUR ‘FOLLOW’ AGAIN TO CINEMAS”, international screens have also hosted different documentaries about South Korean pop stars, including titles such as “JUNG KOOK: I AM STILL” and the most recent, “RM: Right People, Wrong Place”.

Now, Brazilian cinemas are about to receive another great k-pop production: the feature film “(G)I-DLE WORLD TOUR [iDOL] IN CINEMAS”, a work that accompanies the girl group (G)I-DLE during their performance of the “iDOL” world tour in Seoul, South Korea.

But, when will the (G)I-DLE film premiere in Brazil?

Here, the “(G)I-DLE WORLD TOUR [iDOL] IN CINEMAS” It is scheduled to premiere on January 29thremaining on display only until February 1st, according to information shared by Billboard Brasil. Brazilian Neverlands will be able to follow Miyeon, Minnie, Soyeon, Yuqi and Shuhuaby the UCI network on the big screen in the cities of São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Manaus, Curitiba, Recife and Fortaleza.

The film’s official synopsis reads: “The unforgettable energy of (G)I-DLE’s 2024 World Tour,”[iDOL]’, which delighted fans in 14 cities, is coming to the big screen! Experience the magic of the show in Seoul, the great kickoff to this electrifying tour. Watch iconic performances of hits like ‘Super Lady’, ‘LATATA’, ‘Queencard’ and ‘TOMBOY’, with a carefully crafted setlist and breathtaking visuals. Starting January 2025, dive into this magical excitement with one of K-pop’s biggest stars!”
