Despite the announcement of the remake, the cast has not yet been defined, and many rumors have been circulating, especially about who could play the main roles. The actress Florence Pugh has been mentioned as a possible Rapunzel, although Disney has not confirmed her participation. On the other hand, Zachary Leviwho voiced Flynn Rider in the animation, expressed interest in reprising his role, although he raised questions about the age difference between the character and the actor.

“I would love to… However, Rapunzel is 17, turning 18. And I don’t know… not that I wasn’t young for some other roles, but I don’t know.”

In addition to indicating that a younger cast may be a more suitable choice for the remake, which suggests that the project will likely feature new faces in the cast.

There was this thing floating around on the Internet, I’ve only seen it before. Someone told me Florence Pugh Could potentially play the role of Rapunzel [em Enrolados]. And if Florence play Rapunzel, perhaps! Which would also be a trip because my real last name is Pughby the way… so you would have a ‘Pugh Pugh’ in Tangled? Without this! That would be really funny. But from a story point of view, I’m not 24.”

Despite speculation, the original cast of the live-action ‘Tangled’ has not yet been released.
