Meet some groups that will celebrate their 15th debut anniversary in 2025
2025 will be a year of celebration for countless groups. In addition to special reunions and long-awaited military discharges, some third-generation sets will also celebrate their decade anniversary together, including the likes of TWICE, SEVENTEEN, GOT7, and GFRIEND.
On the other hand, this year, some renowned second generation formations will also celebrate their 15th anniversary of debut. Check out some!
1. 9MUSES
Debuting on August 12, 2010 through Star Empire Entertainment, 9MUSES has had different lineups over the years. Among the artists who have already been part of the group, we have: Jaekyung, Rana, Bini, LeeSem, It will be, Eunji, Euaerin, My, Hyuna, Hyemi, Sungah, Gyeongree, Gabin and Keumjo. Currently, the set is no longer active.
2. Girl’s Day

Formed by Dream Tea Entertainment, Girl’s Day is made up of four members: Sojin, Yura, Minah and Hyeri. Owners of hits such as “Something” and “Ring My Bell”, the girl group left their original company in 2019 after the end of their contracts, however, they did not disband. The training is currently on hiatus.
3. INFINITE

Currently composed of Sungkyu, Dongwoo, Woohyun, Sungyeol, L and SungjongINFINITE debuted on June 9, 2010 through Woollim Entertainment. After all members left the agency, in 2023, the group announced that it had signed a contract with the company INFINITY Company. His most recent release took place on December 25, 2024, with the single “Sad Loop”.
4. miss A

Owners of hits such as “Bad Girl, Good Girl”, “Hush”, “Good-bye Baby” and “I Don’t Need a Man”, miss A debuted under JYP Entertainment in 2010, consisting of four members: Jia, Min, Fei and Suzy. In May 2016, Jia left training, followed by Min in November 2017. On December 26 of the same year, JYP confirmed the girl group’s disbandment.
5. SISTAR

Composed of Hyolyn, Let’s go, Soyu and DasomSISTAR debuted on June 3, 2010 under Starship Entertainment. Considered as the “queens of summer”, and owners of hits such as “Touch My Body” and “Shake It”, the girl group announced the end of their activities in May 2017. In 2022, the group met for the first time to meet feature in “Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook”. In 2024, Hyolyn and Let’s go they made a comeback as the unit “SISTAR19”, with the single “NO MORE (MA BOY)”.
EXTRA: GD & TOP

In 2010, the duo GD & TOP, a sub-unit of the legendary boy group BIGBANG, from YG Entertainment, also debuted. Formed by G-Dragon and TOPthe duo debuted with their first and only album “GD&TOP”.
