“Right People, Wrong Place” hits Brazilian cinemas, while RM’s album wins awards and international recognition

ARMYs, the wait is over! After much anticipation from fans, the long-awaited documentary ‘Right People, Wrong Place’, by RM, member of BTS, is available in Brazilian cinemas starting this Thursday, the 9th. The project provides fans with an intimate window into the artist’s mind and the creative process that culminated in his second solo album, which bears the same name as long.

Through personal reflections, the documentary shows RM on his journey of self-discovery, addressing his insecurities, his victories and what he himself defines as a constant “strangeness” with the places he goes to and the people he meets.

“I tried to see how truly honest I could be with myself as an RM, or as an Kim Namjoon”, says the rapper in the film’s teaser.

During the 80 minutes of the documentary, directed by Lee Seok-junwe follow the artist through the album production process, where he not only shares his music, but also the emotional and creative turmoil he goes through as he prepares for his mandatory military enlistment. This project, then, is not limited to just being a musical work; is a deep dive into the soul of the BTS leader, who became a global icon.

The story of the album ‘Right People, Wrong Place’ is a reflection of the singer’s journey, and is also a cry from those who feel out of place, but seek to find themselves. The film’s synopsis says: “The creative process of the album ‘Right Place, Wrong Person’ is represented and captures the singer’s sensation of feeling out of place in the world, not belonging to the place he is in, a familiar feeling that will certainly touch the hearts of many spectators.”

Tickets are now available in cinemas across Brazil!
