THEY ARE COMING BACK! Affectionately dubbed by fans as “The Year of BTS”, 2025 promises to be marked by the return of today’s most famous boy group, after RM, Suga, Jimin, V and Jungkook complete mandatory military enlistment by the end of June.
It is expected, according to the Korean press, that BTS is preparing a new album to be released later this year, followed by a world tour to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the album series “The Most Beautiful Moments In Life”, representing the comeback of the group on stage. The information, however, has not yet been confirmed by BigHit Music or HYBE, and remains only speculation.
BTS’s latest album, “Proof”, released in 2022, was an anthology that brought the group’s history to light, with tracks like “Yet To Come” and “Run BTS”, as well as some new songs. The project marked the transition to the phase of solo activities for its members and, now, the expected return for 2025 should further consolidate the global k-pop fever, in addition to boosting HYBE’s sales.
During the period of separation, the group’s members dedicated themselves to their solo careers, achieving great milestones. Jimin and Jungkook stood out on the international charts, with “Like Crazy” and “Seven”, respectively, dominating the Billboard Hot 100. Sugain turn, was present with the album “D-Day”, which reached second place on the Billboard 200 in 2023. Now J-Hopemade history as the first K-pop artist to headline Lollapalooza in Chicago in 2022, and is now preparing for his solo “HOPE ON THE STAGE” tour, with shows scheduled for February 2025.

Although the group remained away from the stage, their presence was constant, with the release of solo albums and pre-recorded content, maintaining their global relevance. With the group’s official return, expectations are very high among ARMYs. Recently,J-Hopeexpressed his excitement about BTS’s comeback:
“When we’re all back together as a group, it will have a huge impact and everyone will be watching,” he said. “I want to come back in a big way and say, ‘This is us; this is BTS'”
The 10th Anniversary of The Most Beautiful Moments in Life
In April 2025, BTS will celebrate the 10th anniversary of “The Most Beautiful Moments in Life” trilogy, one of the biggest milestones of their career. The series, also known as the Youth Trilogy, includes the first album “The Most Beautiful Moment in Life, Pt. 1” (2015), with the hit “I Need U”, and the second volume “The Most Beautiful Moment in Life , Pt. 2” (2015), with “RUN” as the lead single.
The last album in the trilogy, “The Most Beautiful Moment in Life: Young Forever” (2016), was a compilation of tracks from the previous two, celebrating the success of the series. With their 10-year anniversary approaching, fans are excited to see how the group will celebrate this significant milestone in their musical journey.
