After three years of IZ*ONE’s sad disbandment, see where the twelve former members of the iconic fourth generation girl group are
Formed through the survival show Produce 48, IZ*ONE was a temporary girl group formed by 12 members: Wonyoung, Sakura, Yuri, Yena, Yujin, Nako, Eunbi, Hyewon, Hitomi, Chaewon, Minju and Chaeyeon.
Her Korean debut took place on October 29, 2018, with the track “La Vie em Rose”. Throughout their two and a half year career, the group accumulated countless hits, becoming one of the main girl groups of the fourth generation. Among the hits released, we have “FIESTA”, “Secret Story of the Swan”, “Violeta” and “Panorama”.
On April 29, 2021, with the end of the period stipulated during the program, the sad official disbandment of IZ*ONE occurred. Since then, all 12 members have followed different paths, debuting in new groups, or even debuting as solo artists. Find out where they are today!
Eunbi
Leader of IZ*ONE and the oldest member of the group, Kwon Eunbi decided to remain as a singer, debuting as a soloist four months after the girl group’s disbandment under Woollim Entertainment. His solo debut took place in August 2021, with the mini album “OPEN”, accompanied by the title track “Door”.
Sakura

With the end of the group, Miyawaki Sakura returned to Japan, where he also graduated from the Japanese group HKT48 in June 2021, but did not return to live there. Sakura decided to remain in the South Korean market and, in March 2022, officially signed his contract with Source Music. Next to Chaewonshe debuted in the girl group LE SSERAFIM on May 2, 2022.
Hyewon

Ushering in a new era, Kang Hyewon decided to pursue her career as an actress and singer through the company 8D Entertainment. In December 2021, she released a special album for fans called “W”, consisting of five songs.
Yena

Choi Yena is also on the list of former IZ*ONE members who debuted solo. She debuted as a soloist under YUEHUA Entertainment in January 2022, with the mini-album “ˣ‿ˣ (SMiLEY)”, which was accompanied by the title track “SMILEY”, made in collaboration with fellow soloist BIBI.
Chaeyeon

Before debuting solo, Lee Chaeyeon remained in the public eye. In 2021, for example, she was one of the competitors on the dance program “Street Woman Fighter”, where she participated in the WANT team. His long-awaited debut as a soloist took place on October 12, 2022, with the album “HUSH HUSH”.
Chaewon

During Produce 48 and while still promoting with IZ*ONE, Chaewon was part of the company Woollim Entertainment, as well as Eunbi. However, with the end of the group, Kim Chaewon left the agency and signed with Source Music in March 2022. Now, alongside Sakuradebuted at LE SSERAFIM, where he assumed the role of leader of the formation.
Minju

Despite having decided to take a break from her life as a singer, Kim Minju remained in the public eye. With the end of the group, she chose to focus on her career as an actress with the company Urban Works Entertainment, and also worked as a presenter on the music show “Music Core” alongside Lee Knowby Stray Kids, and Jungwoofrom NCT. Additionally, at the end of 2021 Minju even returned to the stage, this time to perform a special performance at MBC Gayo Daejejeon 2021, together with Yejifrom ITZY, Wonyoung and Yujinex-IZ*ONE and current members of IVE, and Miyeonfrom (G)-IDLE.
Nako

Yabuki Nako is one of the Japanese members of IZ*ONE and, shortly after the group’s end, she returned to Japan where she remains today. Nako she also promoted with the group HTK48, before graduating in April 2023. In addition, she also resumed her career as an actress, participating in the drama “Kao Dake Sensei”, where she played the character Sanjo Aika.
Hitomi

Honda Hitomi is the third and final Japanese member of IZ*ONE. Like this Nakowith the end of the group’s activities, she returned to her country, where she promoted with the group AKB48 until January 2024, when she graduated. Soon after, he returned to South Korea, where he signed with the company iNKODE, managed by Kim Jaejoong (ex-TVXQ!), and debuted in the girl group SAY MY NAME in September of the same year, taking on the role of leader.
Yuri

Jo Yuri She is also one of the former members who has already made her solo debut. A month after the end of IZ*ONE, she signed with the company WAKEONE, and debuted as a soloist in October 2021 with the single “GLASSY”. Recently, the artist has been attracting attention thanks to her role as Junhee in Netflix’s renowned K-drama, “Round 6”.
Yujin

Taking a big turn, Ahn Yujin went from maknae to leader after the end of IZ*ONE’s activities. That’s because she debuted again in December 2021 with Starship Entertainment’s new girl group, IVE, alongside Wonyoungand assuming the leadership role.
Wonyoung

Jang Wonyoung She was the maknae of IZ*ONE, and today she is the fourth oldest member of IVE, where she is part alongside Yujin. In addition to promoting with his new group, Wonyoung has also worked as an MC for Music Bank alongside Sunghoonby ENHYPEN.
