Find out who the new characters are coming to the second season of ‘Percy Jackson and the Olympians’!
The sequel to the series ‘Percy Jackson and the Olympians’ is being produced at full speed and each new piece of information, both about the plot and the new faces in the cast, excites fans of the franchise.
This time, the American press (Via THR) released new names for the second season, such as the actress Rosemarie DeWittknown for ‘The Boys’ and ‘Mad Men’, who was cast to play CC, while Aleks Paunovicfrom ‘Expresso do Ajante’ and ‘Van Helsing’, will bring to life the feared cyclops Polyphemus. Furthermore, Beatrice Kitsosfrom “iZombie”, and Kevin Chaconfrom “Jessica Jones’, will have roles as demigods allied with Luke, played by Charlie Bushnell.
CC’s eccentric and stylish character, who is a guru that Percy (Walker Scobell) and Annabeth (Leah Sava Jeffries) encounter while searching for the Golden Fleece, is also present in the sequence. Polyphemus, a Cyclops who was blinded by Odysseus, now dedicates himself to caring for animals and keeps the precious Fleece on his isolated island (Via THR).
One of the public’s greatest anxieties for this new season of the series is meeting Alison Simms, played by Beatrice Kitsoswho will be a new character who is a former student of Camp Meio-Sangue. She lives in the human world, but believes in what Cronos promises and ends up allying herself with Luke. On the other hand, Chacon will be Chris Rodriguez, son of Hermes, who, like Luke, is part of his rebel group.
Another novelty that has already been mentioned previously is the presence of the gray sisters played by Margaret Cho (Wasp, “the oldest and wisest”), Sandra Bernhard (Ira,”the feisty middle sister”) and Kristen Schaal (Storm, “the young and funniest”).
While the first season is now available on Disney+, anticipation for the next episodes only grows with these new additions to the cast. The series adapts the popular saga of Rick Riordanwhere Percy, son of Poseidon, and other demigods, live great adventures at Camp Half-Blood, between battles with mythological creatures and disputes with the gods of Olympus.
