Two Ukrainian songs by alyona alyona and Jerry Heil and Nadya Dorofeeva are included in the Spotify Best of EQUAL 2024 playlist.
Streaming platform Spotify has announced the results of the Best of EQUAL 2024 playlist, an annual music project that promotes women’s creativity and supports ideas of gender equality.
This year, the list of the most notable musical works includes two Ukrainian compositions.
The track Teresa & Maria performed by alyona alyona and Jerry Heil took the 35th place, and the composition Nitroglycerin by Nadya Dorofeeva (DOROFEEVA) was in the 57th place. In total, the playlist includes 75 songs from performers from around the world who contributed to the development of modern music.
DOROFEEVA is particularly proud of her participation in Spotify’s global campaign, where she appeared alongside stars such as Sabrina Carpenter and Celine Dion.
Best of EQUAL is an important initiative that puts women at the center of the music industry, and the presence of Ukrainian artists on the list shows that their talent and message are recognized in the world.
LATEXFAUNA group’s video for the song Massandra was previously reported to be in the top 100 on YouTube.
