Paramount studio has confirmed the release of Sonic the Hedgehog 4. The film will hit the big screens in the spring of 2027.
Paramount Studios has officially announced the development of the fourth installment of the Sonic the Hedgehog movie franchise (Sonic The Movie 4). According to Variety, the premiere is scheduled for spring 2027, two years after the release of the third film.
We remind you that Sonic the Hedgehog 3 will debut at the global box office today, December 20, and will simultaneously be released in Ukrainian cinemas. Despite mixed reviews from critics, the third film has every chance to continue the success of the previous installments, which collectively earned $725 million at the box office.
Plot details for the fourth film have yet to be revealed. It is also unknown if Jim Carrey will return to the role of the iconic villain Dr. Robotnik, because the third part could be the key to developing his character.
Fans can’t wait to see what adventures Sonic and his friends will unleash in the future as the creators continue to expand the popular Hedgehog universe.
