New trailer reveals more about the plot of ‘Captain America: Brave New World’, Marvel’s long-awaited sequel, bringing news to fans
Marvel Studios revealed this Friday, the 13th, a new version of the trailer for “Captain America: Brave New World”, and expectations are sky high! With new scenes and an even greater load of action, the highlight goes to the transformation of Thaddeus Ross, played by Harrison Fordin the powerful Red Hulk.
In the film, Anthony Mackie returns as Sam Wilson, the new Captain America, taking on the mantle of Steve Rogers. The story follows Sam in the midst of an international crisis, where he must uncover a global conspiracy before the world descends into total chaos, with the threat of the Red Hulk lurking.
Behind the scenes, the production faced major challenges. After finishing the initial recordings, which lasted around three months, the film underwent a series of restructuring, with new reshoots carried out between May and June 2024, when Orton rewrote the script. Already postponed several times, Captain America: Brave New World is now scheduled to debut in theaters in February 2025, in addition to setting the stage for Thunderbolts, which opens three months later, also with the return of Harrison Ford like General Ross.
Despite some negative reviews in test screenings, expectations are high for the mix of action and political thriller that the film promises. Kevin Feige has already made it clear that the intention is to capture the same essence as Captain America: The Winter Soldier. The cast also has Danny Ramirez, Shira Haas, Xosha Roquemore, Carl Lumbly, Giancarlo Esposito, Liv Tyler and Tim Blake Nelsonunder the direction of Julius Onah and production of Kevin Feige and Nate Moore.
The premiere of “Captain America: Brave New World” is scheduled for February 13, 2025 and promises to take Sam Wilson to new epic challenges in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
