With the success of ‘Who’, Jimin, from BTS, reaches a historic milestone, equaling the record achieved by PSY with ‘Gangnam Style’
STAR! Collecting records since releasing his first project as a soloist, Jimin, by BTS, continues to dominate the Billboard Hot 100, even six months after the debut of “Who”, the single from their latest album “Muse”, released in July, returned to position 47 on the chart.
This feat marks the achievement of a record for the BTS member, as it is the second song by a K-pop soloist to spend 20 consecutive weeks on the Billboard 100 charts. PSY achieved the brand with the hit “Gangnam Style” in 2012.

In addition to the Hot 100, the single by Jimin reentered Billboard’s digital song sales charts, reaching 13th position this week, becoming the seventh non-consecutive week in the ranking. “Who” also remained at number 23 on the Global chart and at number 24 on the Global 200.
With the album “Muse”, the BTS member became the second Korean artist to have a solo album spend 20 weeks on the Billboard 200, behind only “GOLDEN”, by his group mate, Jungkookwhich reached the 24-week mark last year. The artist’s work rose again to position number 114.
It is not news that Jimin has been racking up records with “Who” on the Billboard Hot 100, already having:
- Solo song by a K-soloist who spent the longest time on the charts in the last decade
- Song with the longest stay on the music charts by a K-soloist in the last decade (tied)
- Longest charting song of 2024 by a K-ACT
- Highest ranked song by a K-soloist in the 20th week of release in the last decade
