What do K-pop idols do in their free time? There are several leisure and rest activities, but, in case of Jenniefrom BLACKPINK, one of her favorite pastimes seems to be spending some time in front of the screen watching series and films, as the voice of “Mantra” has already recommended several productions so that fans could, like her, binge watch.

1. Round 6

The second season of “Round 6” premieres on December 26, but since launch it has been supported by Jennie. This is because the cast included the actress Jung Ho Yeonwho is a close friend of the idol.

During the recording of the first season, including, Jennie sent a coffee truck to the set in support of her friend, as well as paying a visit during the recordings, even appearing in the series credits, as Netflix announced at the time.

Synopsis: “Hundreds of broke gamblers accept a strange invitation to a survival game. A million-dollar prize awaits, but the stakes are high and deadly.”

2. La Casa de Papel

While talking to fans, Jennie already recommended “La Casa de Papel”. She was even gifted by Netflix with items from the series, such as the mask inspired by the painter Salvador Dalí, the red jumpsuit and money bills with the idol’s face.

Synopsis: “Eight thieves lock themselves hostage in the Spanish Mint. Their leader manipulates the police to carry out a plan. Will it be the biggest robbery in history, or a mission in vain?”

During a live broadcast in 2019, Jennie mentioned the series “The Vampire Diaries”, stating that he watched it frequently during his trainee period.

In the same live, she revealed that she was waiting for the premiere of the new season of “Stranger Things” to watch the entire series again.

In a special interview with Vogue Korea, Jennie said that his favorite film at the time was “A Place Called Notting Hill”, starring Julia Roberts and Hugh Grant.

Extra: Beyond Evil

Responding to fans on CH+ in 2021, Jennie recommended “Beyond Evil” twice while stating that he was still following the plot.
