About ‘Dynamite’
In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, the single from ‘BE’, BTS’ fifth studio album, “Dynamite” is an “explosive” and addictive disco-pop song, also marking the first song completely performed in English by the South Korean group.
The song quickly became a worldwide phenomenon when it reached the top of the Billboard Hot 100, being the first song by a South Korean act to do so, in addition to being nominated for a Grammy for best pop performance by a duo or group.
The achievements, which are now so commonplace when we refer to the group, provided fans with much entertainment due to the members’ reactions since the beginning of their musical achievements.
The clip has broken many records since it premiered – such as the highest number of simultaneous viewers on YouTube (three million), the shortest time to reach 10 million hits (20 minutes), and the highest number of views in the first 24 hours (101.1 million) , which earned entries in the Guinness Book.
Dynamite was also included in the ‘100 Hits of the Century’ released by American entertainment magazine Uprox.
