Through its Twitter account, Netflix shared a thread with a few Stranger Things secrets and easter eggs that many of us probably didn’t know about. Below we present the most prominent of them.

Hopper’s sword is the same as in Conan the Barbarian.

On his Instagram account, actor David Harbor commented that the sword he used for his character Jim Hopper to defeat the Demogorgon was the same one used in the Conan the Barbarian movies starring Arnold Schwarzenegger in the eighties. “It was heavy as hell and it was a huge honor for me to own it,” Harbor wrote.

Joseph Quinn (Eddie Munson) and Charlie Heaton (Jonathan Byers) rehearsed together

For his epic guitar-playing scene from Metallica’s The Puppet Master, actor Joseph Quinn (Eddie Munson) rehearsed on set in his spare time, enlisting the help of fellow cast member Charlie Heaton (Jonathan Byers), who happens to be great drummer.

Robert Trujillo’s son Ty helped record guitar riffs

In the aforementioned scene where Eddie Munson lures Vecna’s devil bats with Metallica’s Puppet Master, actor Joseph Quinn was assisted by the band’s bassist’s son metallicaTai, credited as listed by his own father on Instagram.

Two impromptu lines

Recently, the authorsvery strange things, via their social media, revealed two lines improvised by the two actors that gave more power to their respective scenes. The first was at the time of Eddie Munson’s death, when he told Dustin, “This is my year, Henderson. I think it’s finally my year” and adds “I love you man”; this last line was improvised. Secondly, when Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin) held Max in his arms, and although his sister Erica was not around, he said: “Erika, help.”

Hellfire Club polo shirt design

The Hellfire Club, where Hawkins’ youth gathered to play Dungeons and Dragons, had a distinctive polo shirt that Eddie Munson always wore. The design of this polo shirt was inspired by the work of artist Damien Echols, who was sentenced to death for the deaths of three teenagers in Memphis in the mid-1990s but was later found not guilty.

Color palettes used in Stranger Things

To give each location the right atmosphere, the creators of the series gave each of them a special photographic treatment. So, for Hawkins, saturated colors were used; for California cakes; while for communist Russia they chose darkness and cold.

Eduardo Franco, Argyle, had to learn to drive from a mechanic.

Argyle, a California friend of Jonathan Byers, had to learn how to drive an automatic to drive a Surfer Boy Pizza truck that was clearly a model from a different era.

Where in real life is the “krelovy house”?

The Creel family home, where Henry Creel (later Vecna) murdered his mother and sister, was originally located in the city of Rome, located in the state Georgia. The team was looking for a spooky-looking home with vertical architecture and a loft, and this old mansion fit the bill.

Complex Scene Millie Bobby Brown

Despite being a victim of Martin Brenner’s (Matthew Modine) experiments, Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) has always called him dad, as he is one of the few people she has known since childhood. In addition, Matthew and Millie have been working since the beginning of the series, so the scene in which they both say goodbye was quite a challenge as an actor, as she herself admitted.

Reference to “The Scissor Man”

In 1990 Winona Ryder, Joyce Byers “Stranger Things”, co-starred (with Johnny Depp) in Tim Burton’s Scissorman. In the scene where he receives a package from Russia, you can see a wall decoration, exactly the same as in one of the settings of the movie in the 90s. An Easter egg for moviegoers only.

EER 4×06 BETTY LA FEA leaves Netflix as the best streaming service

Ugly Betty is one of those sweet soap operas that turned ordinary situations into a TV phenomenon. In this episode, we discuss what we like (or dislike) most about the telenovela created by Fernando Gaitan, the villains, the characters, and even reflect on our own lives (as always, you already know us). You don’t listen anymore.
