The career of Bae Suzy in South Korean entertainment began like many other young people who dream of living in the spotlight: in the music business, after all, she debuted as a member of the group miss A, alongside Fei, Jia and Min in March 2010 by JYP Entertainment. Since then, the idol has been able to voice projects as a soloist, presented several programs and started acting, debuting as an actress in the high school drama ‘Dream High’, in 2011.
In acting, Suzy starred in series and films that allowed her to collect many impressive achievements through the roles she played, as she won popularity awards, best actress and best couple in ceremonies such as the Baeksang Arts Awards, SBS Drama Awards, MBC Drama Awards, Blue Dragon Film Awards and Baeksang Arts Awards.

1. Uncontrollably Fond
Aired on KBS2 in 2016, “Uncontrollably Fond” accompanies No Eul (Suzy) and Shin Joon Young (Kim Woo Bin) who dated as teenagers, but were separated by circumstances they couldn’t avoid. As adults, they meet again when No Eul is asked to produce a documentary about Joon Young’s life, where he begins trying to win back his old girlfriend.

2. Vagabond
“Vagabond” was released in 2019 by SBS. The plot presents Suzy as secret agent Go Hae-ri, who will be responsible for helping stuntman Cha Dal-geon (Lee Seung-gi) investigating the suspicious death of his nephew in a plane crash.

3. While You Were Sleeping
2017’s “While You Were Sleeping” accompanies Suzy as Nam Hong Joo, a field reporter whose life ends up intertwined with lawyer Jung Jae Chan (Lee Jong Suk) and police officer Han Woo Tak (Jung Hae In), who have the ability to predict the future. Together, they will try to understand the origin of this power while trying to keep those they love safe.
4. Start-up (Betting Big)
From tvN, “Start-up” (Apostando Alto, in Portuguese) brings Suzy as Seo Dal-mi. The plot, which aired in 2020, has the following synopsis: “Committed to turning virtual dreams into reality, young entrepreneurs compete for success and love in the ruthless world of Korean high technology.”
