It was not a publication like the others. This year, the Debutante Ball celebrated its 30th anniversarye birthday For the occasion, the event saw things on a grand scale as usual, with 19 hand-picked young women taking turns in the arms of their dates at the Shangri-La in Paris this Saturday.

We were able to discover Lucia-Sofia Ponti, the granddaughter of actress Sophia Loren, in an Armani dress. Princess Eugenie de Bourbon, daughter of Prince Louis, Duke of Anjou, by Carolina Herrera; Ona Finch, granddaughter of Australian comedian Peter Finch, who wore a pastel Chanel dress; or Angel Zhang, daughter of Chinese director Zhang Yimou in Alexis Mabille.We also spotted the presence of Apple Martin, daughter of Coldplay singer Chris Martin and actress Gwyneth Paltrow, who came to the ball with her famous parents.
The presentation of the debutantes was followed by a dinner and a popular ball. Organized by jeweler V Muse, Carita and Laurent Perrier, the evening raised funds for the Cardiology Research Association for Fetal to Adult (ARCFA), which is set up at the Necker-Enfants Malades Hospital and aims to improve the lives of those with defects and heart disease quality of childcare.
