Boy group THE BOYZ will release one last special single before the group’s contract with IST Entertainment ends in mid-December.
According to the Korean press (Via Soompi), the song is scheduled to debut on December 2nd, just over a month after the release of her ninth mini-album “TRIGGER”.

The single will mark the end of THE BOYZ’s exclusive contract with IST Entertainment, as all 11 members of the group will move to ONE HUNDRED, founded in 2023 by the rapper MC Mongand by the president of p_Arc Group, Cha Ga Won.
It’s worth remembering that THE BOYZ releases a single every year on December 6th, the day of their debut, and this year it seems that the tribute comes a few days earlier.
The boy group has been active since December 2017 and they plan to remain active in the new company they will start.
UNDERSTAND THE DEPARTURE OF THE BOYZ FROM IST ENTERTAINMENT
On September 23, the South Korean portal TenAsia reported that, with the end of their contracts approaching, the members of THE BOYZ were planning to leave IST Entertainment, the company responsible for managing their careers, and were already looking for a new agency.
The publication points out that the group would be prioritizing companies that provide a transparent system and align with its musical vision, in addition to that negotiations with a specific agency, whose name has not been revealed, would already be in their final stage.
According to TenAsia, Sangyeon, Jacob, Younghoon, Hyunjae, Juyeon, Kevin, New, Q, JuHaknyeon, Sunwoo and Eric are committed to staying together and, therefore, discussions would be focused on opportunities for everyone to continue evolving as one.
