“I created a look dominated by the lightness and purity of the complexion. I preferred nude shades that blend gently into the skin and give the face a natural glow,” she explains. After moisturizing the models’ skin and contours of the eyes by massaging the face, the expert took out the brushes. “It’s the makeup that glorifies the natural beauty of each girl. We’re just subtly improving their specifications,” explains Peter Phillips.

Only the cheekbones were given a subtle touch of color at the request of Dior artistic director Maria Grazia Chiuri.
