Linkin Park released their first album since Chester Bennington’s death, marking a new beginning with From Zero.

This is the band’s first album after the tragic death of their lead singer Chester Bennington in 2017 and the debut work with the participation of a new member – vocalist Emily Armstrong.

The album’s title is a reference to the band’s original name, Xero, which is where they started. According to Mike Shinoda, the album symbolizes both the band’s humble beginnings and its path to a new phase of creativity.

“The sound and emotion of the album reflects the past, present and future, keeping our signature sound, but at the same time new and full of life. The album was created with thanks to new and old friends of the band, our family and fans,” said Mike Shinoda.

From Zero features 11 tracks, maintaining the energy and style that made Linkin Park legends. At the same time, it marks a new beginning for the band, continuing its history by paying tribute to Chester Bennington, whose vocals and work will remain an asset to the band.

It was previously reported that the son of late Linkin Park frontman Chester Bennington, Jamie Bennington, criticized his father’s former bandmates for choosing new vocalist Emily Armstrong.
