A success in streaming, Penguin, from the Batman universe, caught the attention of fans; Series creator discussed a possible second season
The possibility of a second season of the series “Penguin” is still uncertainaccording to recent statements by Lauren LeFranc, the creative mind behind the production.
In an interview with Deadline, LeFranc revealed that there are no ongoing discussions at HBO about continuing the series.
“I really don’t know, at this point. We’re not talking about a second season,” the creator explained to Deadline. “What we always knew is that our series would be a bridge between the first and second films. [da franquia Batman, de Matt Reeves]. Beyond that, I can’t say anything else that suggests a future for Pinguim.”
In turn, Colin Farrell, protagonist of “Penguin”, expressed to The Hollywood Reporter his interest in returning to the role, as long as the scripts for the possible new season are as robust or more robust than those of the first year. “If we have a great idea, of course I would do it,” said the artist.
