The hero who has no superpowers, but is a master at martial arts: remember the animation “Samurai Jack”
“Samurai Jack” is an American action series, launched in 2001. With five seasons available on the Max and Amazon Prime streaming platforms, the animation has already won awards and has more than 60 episodes.
Jack, the protagonist, is a Japanese warrior who was transported directly from the Middle Ages to the future, where everything seems scary and different. His story begins many centuries ago, when his father, an emperor, is defeated by Abu, the most evil wizard imaginable.

When he is finally ready to face Abu, Samurai Jack receives his father’s sword. She has special powers that make her practically invincible. The problem is that the villain knows he can be defeated and uses magic to open a portal in time and send the enemy to a chilling future.

Suddenly the hero finds himself in a dark world, where everyone is under the control of Abu’s army of robots. To increase his amazement, he encounters oddities he has never seen before, such as subway trains, skyscrapers, flying cars, electronic music and other inventions that he has no idea what they are for.
Now, Samurai Jack will need your knowledge to escape the traps of the evil Abu, survive the dangerous machines of the future and discover another magical portal to go back in time and save his people. In his search, he travels around the world, discovers very different landscapes, people and cultures and shows his power by facing the forces of evil.

Abu is a terrible villain, the kind who dies laughing when he does something bad. With his powers he dominated the world and transformed it into a sad and dark kingdom. This wizard is capable of being everywhere and changing shape to become even more frightening. He seems invincible, but he already lost a battle to Samurai Jack’s father and spent time in retirement.

Now that Abu is back, he knows that the emperor’s son has a powerful sword and is the only one capable of defeating him. Therefore, he sends an army of robot insects to find the hero and destroy him.

With all his wisdom, Samurai Jack doesn’t usually say much, but he reveals what he thinks and feels through the expression in his eyes. Follower of the Code of Samurai, he is courageous and honorable.

He received the best training in riding, fighting, swordsmanship and martial arts. He also exercised his mind with teachings from Greek philosophers, Tibetan monks and Italian scholars.
