In the chat shared by the Soompi portal, the idol began by showing feelings of gratitude for the time he spent in the army and the support he received from his fans.
“I’ve had fun with good friends over the last year and a half. I think I became a strong person after joining the army. I promised the fans that I would come back a better person, and I think I was released in good health, so I wanted to express my gratitude to the fans.”
He then revealed that one of his first projects will be the K-drama “Unknown Seoul”, a romantic drama written by Lee Kang (Youth of May), and directed by Park Shin (Don’t Dare to Dream), which follows twin sisters who are completely different, but who end up changing identities and, during this process, discover true love and the meaning of life.
“After being released, I think I will start filming for ‘Unknown Seoul’. After this, I think I will be able to greet viewers with another project next year,” he said.
In production, Jinyoung was cast to play Ho Soo, a character who has been connected to one of the sisters since school.
The project that the idol can establish as a focus after the K-drama could be GOT7’s long-awaited comeback, as the artist stated that there is an album in planning that should be released before Youngjae and Yugyeom begin military enlistment.
