Before returning to London, Liam Payne’s body stopped in Brazil

Just over 20 days after his passing, former One Direction member Liam Payne’s body is finally returning to England

This Wednesday, the 6th, the transfer of the body of Liam Payneformer member of One Direction, to England, just over two weeks after his death. The singer died on October 16, at the age of 31, after falling from the third floor of the Hotel Casa Sur, in Palermo, Argentina, where he was staying.

As reported by UOL’s Splash portal, the repatriation of the body of Liamwho is supported by his father, Geoff Payneis being carried out by a flight from the British company British Airways, and made a stopover in Brazil, landing in Rio de Janeiro at 4:30 pm. The plane was scheduled to take off again at 6:10 pm, arriving in London at around 5:30 am (Brasília time).

The British newspaper Daily Mail points out that the arrival of the body is already being awaited in the United Kingdom, and that the details of the funeral will only be revealed after its arrival in the country.

“The necessary arrangements are already underway and, when the body arrives in Britain, the next step will be to release details of the funeral plan,” said a source close to the newspaper.

Investigation

According to information released by TMZ (via Hugo Gloss) today, the country’s authorities carried out searches at the homes of two employees of the Casa Sur hotel, where the star was staying, and at the residence of a “friend” of the singer. The identities of the suspects, however, were not revealed. So far, no one has been charged or arrested.
