After praising NewJeans’ results in a new conference call, HYBE CEO Lee Jae Sang received criticism from the group’s fans in an online community
In the third quarter performance conference call held today, 5th, HYBE made new comments about NewJeans, an agency group subsidized by the conglomerate, ADOR. Even though the comments sounded positive, internet users’ reactions were negative, as they criticized the company in the theqoo online community.
As reported by the Koreaboo portal, the CEO of HYBE, Lee Jae Sangsaid that HYBE plans to “conduct business quietly, focusing on more fundamental values” in relation to NewJeans, ensuring that the company intends to offer support for the group to continue on the rise.
Lee Jae Sang also reinforced the achievements achieved by NewJeans this year, including the concert held at Tokyo Dome, the sale of millions of copies of albums, as well as the popularity that the group maintains in the music and commercial charts even without recent releases, as there was no release of albums or presentations in the third quarter of this year.
After the repercussion of the Lee Jae Sangfans of the group went to theqoo, and revealed feelings of disbelief they have towards the CEO of HYBE and the company, implying that there are no good intentions with the praise given to NewJeans.
