Missed episode?
For many people, the crossover between “One Piece” and “Dragon Ball” may seem like something new, even though its original release took place 11 years ago — but don’t worry, there is a valid explanation for why many people don’t know about the existence of this legendary episode. .
This is because, as reported by the TecMundo portal, the chapter was only broadcast on television once, due to problems related to the copyright of the three animes, meaning that, until today, it had not been released on streaming services or physical collections, being extremely rare to find on the internet.
The situation, however, changed in 2023, when Toei Animation reported that, after a decade of waiting, Adult Swim’s anime block, Toonami, would air “The most powerful collaboration in history against the Glutton of the Seas”, airing on March 4th, however, with some cuts, due to copyright.
The episode available today in the Brazilian Netflix catalog is also not complete. This is because the characters’ first meeting and the beginning of the plot takes place in chapter 99 of “Toriko”, which is not yet available in Brazil. However, in order not to leave fans lost and to keep everyone in context, the plot begins with a summary of what happened.
