This Thursday, 31st, new photos of Vfrom BTS, during his military service went viral on social media after the idol shared in his stories a post of gratitude made by a colleague from the same base. Hello, Taehyung hyung! We talked a lot in the unit, but there was something I couldn’t say, so I’m writing it here.
Since you transferred in February, when we worked out together, we would sometimes say, ‘Should we take a break today?’ Even when we suggested taking a break, we didn’t, we encouraged each other to continue. Our unit’s exercise equipment was in poor condition, but thanks to your donation, we were able to work more diligently and enjoyably.
You also bought us Haagen Dazs at a convenience store, and when the new song ‘FRI(END)S’ came out, we went out together and you invited us for a meal that was really delicious.
When I had a difficult time, you listened to my concerns, talked to me about areas that matched my interests, recommended books, and even when I chose a career that didn’t go according to your suggestion, you believed in me without saying a word. It was so touching. You treated my dream like it was yours, and when I wasn’t even sure about my own dream, you believed in me. So I think I was able to solidify my dream even more.
Now that I have been discharged from the army, I intend to do my best and move forward again, just like you believed in me and supported me. Even though we are physically apart, I will always have you in my heart. Whenever I face difficult times and feel like giving up, I will remember the dream you helped me discover and work hard without giving up.
Thank you for being with me, laughing together and overcoming difficult training during this short or long period of time.”

Furthermore, in the publications carousel, there is also a warm message next to an autograph that V left to say goodbye to his friend; read:
I was so happy to be able to live military life with you. Working out together was a lot of fun, and I was worried that there might be a barrier between us because of our age difference. But we got over it, and it felt like we were friends (of similar ages), you, Seungmin and I.
Even now, I haven’t forgotten anything, and it seems like our bond runs deep. It’s a shame that we couldn’t be in the same platoon, but still, as a friend and as your hyung, I congratulate you on your discharge from the army and hope you become a wonderful bodybuilder in society. Even if we are unsuccessful, we will not forget our memories together. Let’s keep in touch and work out together sometimes.
I want to maintain the unique atmosphere you all have created and make it enjoyable. It’s a little shameful to cry, because I have so many feelings. Thanks for the warm message, even though I’m older. I was very grateful.

When will BTS members be released?
Until then, just Jin and J-Hope were exempted from military service. Already Jungkook, Jimin, V, Suga and RM should return in June 2025, with the group meeting again only in the second half of the same year.
