BLACKPINK’s Lisa has already shared with fans what career she would pursue if she weren’t a K-pop star; find out which one!
Becoming a K-pop idol is often not the initial dream of our favorite artists. Furthermore, to become someone recognized by the industry, a lot of dedication and effort is required, and it can take many years before a trainee finally manages to debut as a soloist or with a group.
Because of this, or dreams that were born in childhood, it is common to see artists naturally talk about other career options they would like to pursue if they were not working in the K-pop industry.
During a video produced for the LLOUD channel, the agency that manages the solo activities of Lisaby BLACKPINK, the idol does a kind of “home tour” through the rooms of her house in celebration of her 27th birthday, while also answering a series of questions for her fans, including her dream profession before becoming a star:
A flight attendant. I wanted to be a flight attendant. Before I auditioned, I told my father that I wanted to be a flight attendant, and he said that I should study abroad if I became one. But then I signed the contract with YG and gave up on my dream of being a flight attendant.”
