In “Venom” (2018), we meet determined journalist Eddie Brock (Tom Hardy), who ends up becoming host to an alien parasite, Venom, responsible for giving him impressive powers, in addition to making the man acquire an impulsive and dark side.
While trying to learn to deal with all the news that arrived with Venom, Eddie discovers that the Life Foundation, a biotechnology and space exploration company, was carrying out daring and dangerous experiments to find other symbiotics, with the aim of creating an army of meta-humans. .
Due to this enormous ambition, the company’s CEO, Carlton Drake (Riz Ahmed), starts to act in a dubious way, becoming a threat to all humanity and a host for the Riot symbiote, a villain who wants to dominate the Earth and fights against Eddie in the film’s climax.
In “Venom: Let There Be Carnage”, 2021, the story takes place just one year after the events of the first feature, where we see Eddie Brock trying to return to his career as a journalist, but facing serious problems reconciling his life with the symbiote .
During his internal battle, Eddie ends up being invited to interview Cletus Kasady (Woody Harrelson), a serial killer introduced in a flashback at the beginning of the film, who escaped from an institute alongside his girlfriend, Frances Barrison (Naomie Harris), and with the help of synbiotics.
Now, Kasady is on death row, but his execution ends up going wrong, causing the symbiotic Carnage to free him. Thus, Cletus and the symbiote begin to seek revenge, and force Eddie and Venom to fight against this new threat.
In the new film “Venom: The Last Round”, the duo must face an intense race to survive against Knull, the villain responsible for creating the symbiotes. Taken by the desire for power, the character places a relentless army in search of Eddie and Venom, threatening everything and everyone.
