NCT WISH’s Riku announces break due to health reasons

NCT WISH’s Riku announced through SM Entertainment that he will be taking a period of hiatus due to health issues.

This Tuesday, 22nd, Rikufrom NCT WISH, announced that they will be taking a period of hiatus due to health issues. According to SM Entertainment, the idol will no longer participate in any of the scheduled activities, including the unit’s upcoming tour of Japan.

We are making an announcement regarding member Riku’s activities and health status.

Recently, Riku visited the hospital due to a deterioration in his health, and after being attended to, he was advised by the doctor that he would need plenty of rest and stability. We put our artist’s health as our top priority, so after serious discussions with Riku, it was decided that he would focus on his treatment and recovery.

As of today, Riku will not be participating in any of NCT WISH’s scheduled activities, and when he is better to return in the future, we will let you know.

The ‘NCT WISH 2024 ASIA TOUR LOG in JAPAN’ tour, which starts on November 3, will take place with just five members: Sion, Yushi, Jaehee, Ryo, and Sakuya. We ask that you contribute generously and understand the circumstances of this fact.
