In an interview, the doctor detailed the first aid provided after Liam Payne fell from a hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina
Liam Payne, former member of the musical group One Direction, passed away at the age of 31 this Wednesday, 16, as a result of a fall from the third floor of a hotel located in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
The tragic incident was confirmed by Alberto Crescenti, director of the Emergency Medical Assistance System (SAME), which is analogous to SAMU in Brazil.
The emergency call was registered at 5:04 pm local time, reporting that a person had fallen in the internal courtyard of the Casa Sur hotel. Within minutes, the SAME paramedic team arrived at the scene and confirmed the death of the individual, later identified as singer Liam Payne.
Speaking to the Argentine portal Todo Notícias, Crescenti stated that Payne suffered irreparable injuries due to the fall.
He had injuries incompatible with life as a result of the fall,” said Alberto Crescente, current head of SAME.
“He had a fracture at the base of his skull and other very serious injuries,” Crescente highlighted. The circumstances of the crash are still uncertain and are under investigation.
The fall
According to him, the autopsy will be essential to determine the details and clarify the dynamics of the fatality.
Until nowit is not known whether the fall was accidental or intentional. The director emphasized the importance of expert examinations to understand the causes of what happened.
The height of the fall was estimated at approximately 14 meters, as reported by the medical team that responded to the incident. Crescenti reaffirmed the seriousness of the injuries suffered by Payne, highlighting that there was no any possibility of medical intervention to reverse the situation.
