This Monday, the 14th, BIGHIT MUSIC confirmed the financial losses suffered by Jiminfrom BTS, who did not receive back an amount of money loaned to the comedian Lee Jin Howho was part of the cast of the TV show “Knowing Bros” (“Ask Us Anything”), on JTBC.
“As reported, it is indeed true that financial damage occurred [a Jimin]. He lent money with a signed promissory note,” the company said.

As reported by the TenAsia portal (via Soompi), Lee Jin Ho revealed that he started betting on illegal games in 2020 and the practice soon became an addiction, leading him to seek “financial assistance from many people” to pay off debts accumulated through betting, requesting cash loans from names like Lee Soo Geun, Young Tak, Ha Sung Woon and Jiminfrom BTS, which he was unable to pay within the established deadline, resulting in a debt balance of hundreds of millions of won.
In case of JiminHYBE stated that the comedian approached the idol in 2022, stating that he needed to borrow 100 million won (approximately R$410,923.09), with the excuse that he would return the amount within a week. The loan was made and the promissory note was signed by Lee Jin Hobut he still didn’t fulfill the agreement. Therefore, Jimin allegedly concluded that the comedian would not pay him, and reportedly stated that he could pay the money back “in 10 years” as an act of mercy.
With the case becoming public, Lee Jin Ho was removed from “Knowing Bros” (“Ask Us Anything”) and was also not present at the press conference for the Netflix variety show “Comedy Revenge”, also held this Monday, the 14th.
