The creditor (Min Hee Jin) tarnished the image of the debtor (HYBE) using the media in an attempt to force the sale of ADOR shares. The lender drew up detailed plans, believing that it was possible to achieve independence from HYBE. When a group or idol becomes successful, there are cases where they want to become independent with their producer, as is the current case where the creditor wants to be independent from HYBE with NewJeans. The creditor is convinced that the success of NewJeans and the profits made by the group all belong to her.
After the quote (via allkpop) HYBE also stated that the dismissal of Min Hee Jin from the position of CEO of ADOR, through an executive board meeting held in August, was ‘justified’ through prior notice, which she denies. Since then, both sides have been fighting a legal fight, with no end in sight.
Furthermore, before being fired from the record label, Min Hee Jin was responsible for the activities of the girl group NewJeans, which has been suffering an alleged boycott from HYBE since the situation worsened.
