In the latest episode of ‘Bam House’, BamBam’s variety show, he explains why he stopped following Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon on Instagram
We all use unique methods to better focus on our goals. Everything from giving up a hobby to going out less often can help us fulfill our obligations or achieve a goal, and this applies equally to K-pop idols.
In an episode of ‘Bam House’, a BamBamfrom GOT7, he explained to Nayeonfrom TWICE, who had to unfollow Taeyeonby Girls’ Generation, to be able to better focus on their new tour. As he is a big fan of the singer, he believes that he would become distracted by her social media if he continued to access it regularly, leading him to distance himself for some time. As he himself admits to Nayeon, BamBam also considers Taeyeon as her ‘ideal type’, even attending some of the idol’s fansigns during her pre-teen years.
After posting the episode, Taeyeon ended up watching the cut where BamBam admits that he stopped following her on Instagram in an interview with channel ‘117’, on the program ‘Dex’s Fridge Interview’, comically wondering if she ‘was that annoying’. Check out both full contents below:
At the moment, BamBam is undertaking a showcase tour across Asia to promote his new solo album ‘BAMESIS’, released last August. His last visit took place in Thailand, where the idol also reassured fans and Jackson Wangmember of GOT7, about his current state of mental health, as he had gone through delicate episodes involving his psychology in mid-July.
BamBam commented on the latest events, thanked his fans and Jackson for the messages of support. “Jackson…Jack, if you’re watching, I wanted to tell you thank you, man. I really love you. I’m grateful.” #BAMESISSHOWCASEINCMI
