This Monday, the 7th, Disney released a new dubbed teaser for its next release “Moana 2”, a plot that will present the new adventures of the princess on her journey in the ocean alongside the demigod Maui.
In the video, in addition to presenting a little more about the protagonist’s relationship with her younger sister, Simea, and a small spoiler of what Moana will have to face in her new mission when answering a call from her ancestors and meeting people beyond the island where she lives to unite people again, we can also listen to Portuguese excerpts from the soundtrack. It is worth remembering that, in Brazil, the person responsible for dubbing the protagonist is the actress and singer Any Gabriellyformer member of the global pop group Now United, who returns to the role after also playing the princess in the first film. In the original version, Auliʻi Cravalho is the voice of Moana, while Maui is the voice of Dwayne Johnsonthe The Rock.
“Moana 2” is scheduled to premiere in Brazilian cinemas on November 28th. In addition, Disney is also developing a live-action film of the franchise, which will feature Catherine Laga’aia living Moana; Dwayne Johnson like Maui; John Tui as Chief Tui, Moana’s father; Frankie Adams as Sina, mother of the protagonist and Rena Owen like Grandma Tala. So far, the new version does not yet have a release date.
