Upon being captured, he is taken back to Arkham, where he awaits his sentence, when a guard warns him that someone has come to visit him, but without revealing who. While heading to the place designated for visits, he is approached by another inmate, played by the actor Connor Storrie.
The prisoner, who appears several times throughout the film watching Arthur, asks if he can tell him a joke. Joker accepts, but, while listening to the story, he is stabbed by the other prisoner in the stomach numerous times, dying on the spot.
While watching Fleck’s last breaths, the inmate, who has not been named, bursts out laughing and sits on the floor, cutting his cheeks in the process.
