For his AMI fashion show, designer Alexandre Matiusi tapped actress Amélie Poulin to embody his Cœur Sacré collection on June 23. A very Parisian fashion show.
On June 23, AMI set Paris under its feet. Meet in front of the Sacré-Coeur in Montmartre for the event parade. Once again, Alexander Matiusi steps out of Men’s Fashion Week and presents a collection for everyone, complete with celebrities. Most of the audience, they were also present at the podium from the first notes of the soundtrack. And for good reason, actress Audrey Totu opened the parade.
To applause from guests, the 45-year-old actress stepped onto the cobblestones in white jeans, black ankle boots and a beige trench, an outfit that couldn’t have been more Parisian. Appeared with a nod to Amelie Poulin, whom she played on screen in 2001 for Jean-Pierre Jeunet. But if the actress was certainly the most montmartre of the guests, it was far from the only one.
The stars parterre at the foot of the Sacré Coeur
Ana Girardo joins the cast of the AMI Spring/Summer 2023 show after Audrey Tautou. French actresses were soon joined by star models Leah Kebede, Kristen McMenamy, Paloma Elsesser and even Cara Delevingne. Once not customary, the show was held in equal parts in public.
A few minutes ago, the congregation could see the director Xavier Dolan, the actresses Sandrine Kiberlain, Emmanuelle Béart or even Isabelle Ajan climbing the steps of Montmartre. The highlight of the show, the legendary trio made up of Carla Bruni, Naomi Campbell and Farida Khelfa joined the Sacré-Coeur lobby moments before the show started. Good account, good friends.
