Luana Belmondo is going through a tough time after her divorce from the late Jean-Paul Belmondo’s son. This Sunday, September 29, the chef announced his news on Instagram.
After divorcing Paul Belmondo in June 2024 after thirty-three years of marriage, Luana Belmondo has been going through a “hard time” lately. The chef, who is very active on social networks, announced his news with a video published as a story on Instagram. “Yeah, it’s a pretty tough time, a little bit of everything at the same time,” he said. At the same time, it is so, I have no alternative… I am not the one who decides. I endure whatever life throws at me. And yet you don’t know everything.”
And to continue, facing the camera. “I thank all my friends, today they are very few. But it is better to have few friends. I have three children, a daughter-in-law, and a grandson. I have so many testimonies of love around me, it’s an incredible success.”

A victim of body shaming
These words follow Luana Belmondo’s ordeal. First her divorce from actor Jean-Paul Belmondo’s son Paul after more than three decades of marriage, then the loss of her former mother-in-law, Elodie Constantin, with whom she was close. Finally, the chef received a wave of criticism after sharing a swimsuit photo on Instagram in mid-September. The phrase about weight particularly caught his attention, prompting him to react sharply. “What is the message? Should you lose weight before your husband leaves?” said one subscriber. And he said again. “Thank you for the advice. I’ll be thinking about dieting, a facelift and maybe breast augmentation (they’re sagging at my age) so I’m sure my next husband will stay.” “Life can bring me to my knees. But the other still remains standing, ready to leave. The sprint is still there,” he declared this Sunday, urging his fans to adopt the same philosophy.
