Actors Michael Gambon and Maggie Smith, both known for their roles in the Harry Potter saga, passed away on the same day, but in different years
This Friday, the 27th, the actress maggie smithfamous for playing Professor Minerva McGonagall in the Harry Potter saga, has passed away at the age of 89. After the sad news, some fans of the wizarding world began to speculate about the connection between his departure and that of Michael Gambonwho played Professor Dumbledore and who also died in September of last year, on the same date.
The only difference between the deaths of the two actors was their age: Michael left at the age of 82, while Maggie passed away at 89. Their friendship began in 2004, during the recording of “Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban”, when Gambon took on the role of Dumbledore after Dumbledore’s death Richard Harriswho left in 2002 at the age of 72.
