With an 11-year career, BTS remains one of the most influential boy groups in the world, even during their hiatus due to the members’ mandatory military service. Over more than a decade, the group has gained a huge legion of fans around the world, who have helped them break countless records and reach number one on the global music charts.
Among its millions of ARMYs (fandom name) spread across all parts of the planet, we can also find countless celebrities who have already expressed their admiration for RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook — in addition to also revealing their “bias”, a K-pop term used to refer to their favorite member.

1. Maisie Williams
The actress Maisie Williamsknown for playing Arya Stark in the HBO series “Game of Thrones”, has been a declared ARMY for years, and has revealed in numerous interviews how much she likes the group, in addition to her cover on X (formerly Twitter) being a montage of her with the group members.
In 2022, during a conversation with British GQ magazine, Maisie stated that Jungkook is her favorite member, and that she was upset when she couldn’t see him dancing at the concert she attended in London in 2018, as the artist had an injured knee.
2. Cardi B
In 2021, the rapper Cardi B revealed that he almost recorded a feat with BTS, but that the project ended up not getting off the ground. A year later, in 2022, during a conversation with fans on X, Cardi was asked by a follower about who her favorite member of the South Korean group was, with the artist answering the question with a photo of Jimin.
3. Simu Liu
Playing Shang-Chi in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the actor Simu Liu He revealed for the first time that he is an ARMY in 2018 and, since then, he has always mentioned the group on different occasions. In 2022, while promoting his memoir “We Were Dreamers: An Immigrant Superhero Origin Story”, he ended up being asked who his favorite BTS member was, to which he responded:
“My bias is Rap Monster [RM]. I’ll tell you why. He’s very much like a spokesperson for BTS, like the heart and soul. And it takes a lot to take on this responsibility, right? To be able to speak eloquently on behalf of an entire group. He’s been there every step of the way and he’s also, you know, one of the producers… What’s not to love?”

K-pop also has idols who have already acknowledged how much they admire BTS. Soloist and rapper Jessifor example, has never hidden that he likes the boy group, that he thinks they are extremely talented and that he always watches videos about them on TikTok.
In one of his lives talking to fans, held in 2022, Jessi revealed that he loved all the members of BTS, but that, at the moment, his favorite was J-Hopebecause he is very good at dancing.
5. Hyein (NewJeans)
Maknae from NewJeans, before he even debuted, Hyein appeared in several videos on the YouTube channel Pocket TV, where, in some of them, he made his ARMY side clear. In a vlog published in 2020 on the channel, we can see the artist taking a tour of her room, which featured a poster of her favorite member: Jin.
When showing the photo hanging on the wall, she says: “This cannot be expressed in words. You know it when you see it, right? He is so handsome.”
