After several publications that worried the idol’s fandom, GOT7’s BamBam issued a new statement through X; see what he wrote!

For the past 2 weeks, I want to apologize for being so negative and sensitive. I will take some time for myself and come back as a positive BamBam again. I hope everyone reading this post will always be happy and surrounded by love. Take care of yourselves!”, wrote the idol in the post, as reported by the Koreaboo portal.
Why did BamBam make this statement?
The post published on the idol’s personal profile follows a series of other posts made by him over the last few months. In June of this year, the star shared through Instagram Stories that he wanted to “sleep and not wake up so he can finally rest”, raising concerns among fans about his mental health.
A few hours later, he posted another story that read: “It’s been a long journey from last year to now and there’s still a long way to go. There’s been a lot of pressure and stress and my body hasn’t felt its best for a while now. Sometimes I get sensitive and emotional. I’ll do my best this year and find time to rest. I’ll be fine. Sorry if I caused any concern.”
Furthermore, during a show of “[BAMESIS] SHOWCASE TOUR” in Manila, the capital of the Philippines, he gave a speech to the Ahgases (also known as iGOT7, GOT7 fans) revealing that he hasn’t been feeling happy lately.
I feel like the more you grow up, the happy days keep getting fewer and fewer. I will say that I feel more unhappy than happy lately. I just want to be honest because you guys are the only people I can talk to. You guys are the only people I can lean on. So that’s why I really wanted to express my feelings to you guys.”
He continued his speech by asking fans to be happy, stating that he may need the positive energy of those who follow him at some point.
If this world doesn’t allow me to be that happy, at least I want to give my energy to you guys so that you guys can be happier. So, Ahgase, please, at least for me, please be happy for me, okay? And then someday… maybe when I need that energy, please, you guys can cheer me up and be there for me, so thank you.”
He concluded by saying that being on stage does him good, since when he is alone, his thoughts end up taking over who he is.
I won’t cry, I won’t cry. … I have a lot of things going on in my mind right now, but then, every time, the only place I feel free and happy these days is meeting you guys on stage… so the stage is like a playground for me now. When I’m alone, I kind of think a lot, so I appreciate you guys coming here and having fun for me.”
It is worth mentioning that the “[BAMESIS] SHOWCASE TOUR” still has three stops scheduled, one on October 19, 2024 in Jakarta, Indonesia, another on October 20, 2024 in Hong Kong and, finally, in
December 15, 2024 in Mumbai.
