Further anticipating the arrival of the second season of “Percy Jackson and the Olympians”, the actress responsible for bringing the character Thalia to life was revealed this Monday, the 23rd: Tamara Smartknown for her work on “Resident Evil” (2022).
According to Rick Riordancreator of the renowned franchise, “Thalia Grace is one of the most important characters in the Percy Jackson universe, so the right casting was paramount. Thalia is a powerful warrior, a fearless and loyal friend, and a rebellious demigoddess with a punk sensibility.”
The new episodes of the “Percy Jackson” series will adapt the events of the second book “The Sea of Monsters”, a name that will also be the subtitle of the season.
In addition to the arrival of Smartduring D23 in the United States, Disney also confirmed the presence of the Gray Sisters, also known as Greias, introduced in the books as three elderly women who share a single eye and a single tooth, operators of a taxi company in New York.
In the Disney+ adaptation, Margaret Cho will give life to Vespa, “the oldest and wisest”; Sandra Bernhard will live Ira, “the feisty middle sister”; while Kristen Schaal will play Tempestade, “the youngest and most fun”.
