According to the Sportskeeda portal, an alleged statement from HYBE related to NewJeans’ demands was deleted by NAVER after its publication.
On Monday, 23rd, according to information released by the Sportskeeda website, the South Korean portal Ten Asia published an article containing an alleged statement from HYBE, stating that they would respond to the requests made by the members of NewJeans in the live broadcast held on September 11th, however, the content was reportedly deleted by NAVER, a Korean search tool, a few hours after its publication.
The now-deleted statement released by Ten Asia said:
“We will deliver our response to NewJeans’ request to each member on the 25th. Specific details of the response will not be released.”
On September 11th, Minji, Hanni, Danielle, Haerin and Hyein held a live broadcast through a secondary YouTube channel, where they presented numerous criticisms related to the new management of ADOR, implemented after the dismissal of Min Hee Jin from the position of CEO of the agency, in addition to stating that they began to see HYBE as an “inhumane company”, and that the way they currently work “is not correct and moral”.
Furthermore, still in the live, Minji asked that the conglomerate and its president, Bang Si Hyukreintegrate Min Hee Jin as CEO of ADOR “until the 25th”.
“What we want is for Min Hee Jin to remain as CEO, the original ADOR where management and production were combined. This is the way we can stop fighting with HYBE. If you understand our opinions clearly, then we ask that HYBE and Chairman Bang make the wise decision to return ADOR to its original state by the 25th,” the idol stated during the broadcast.
So far, HYBE has not yet commented on the deletion of the alleged statement released by Ten Asia.
