INTERVIEW – Physicist, philosopher, writer and now comic book author. In Eternity unfolding, he imagines his meeting with Einstein and the perspective this genius would have on our world.
A philosopher of science as much as a physicist, a professor at the École centrale in Paris, a producer of French culture, as much a writer, a mountaineer as a witty anagram expert… Etienne Klein made short circuits between the sciences, the humanities and the arts, his specialty. He is currently publishing a graphic novel, A yawning eternity (co-authored with Laurent Frédéric Bollet and Christian Durier), dedicated to Albert Einstein, his idol. Klein imagines his meeting with the creator of the theory of relativity “simply because I miss him”. A simple and poetic way to better understand how Einstein changed our lives and minds.
Madame Figaro . – If we change the letters of your title, “The Gaping Eternity” becomes “Albert and Etienne”. The first leader.
Etienne Klein. – To be honest, this anagram is a bit of a pirouette, but “Albert Einstein” which is “Nothing is certain” inspires me more. Our hero is really quiet…
