The Seoul Police Station revealed that the alleged crime committed by NCT’s Taeil has already been sent to the South Korean prosecutor’s office.
On Friday the 13th, the Seoul Police Station (via Koreaboo) revealed that the alleged sexual crime committed by Taeilformerly of NCT, has already been referred to the South Korean prosecutor’s office. The case has been forwarded without detention, meaning he will not be arrested before the judicial officers proceed with the case:
We cannot provide specific charges or the specific number of victims, as the case has not yet been submitted to the Public Prosecutor’s Office. However, it is true that the case was sent to the prosecutor’s office yesterday, September 12, without any arrests.”
The accusations against Taeil came to light last August, after SM Entertainment, the label that manages NCT’s activities, published an official statement announcing the departure of the now former member. The news took fans by surprise due to its sudden release, but many supported the agency’s decision to remove the member from the boy group.
Until then, Taeil has not commented on the case, but many NCT members, in addition to the group’s official accounts, have stopped following him on social media, in addition to deleting their photos with the artist. Among them are the profiles of NCT, NCT 127, and the members Taeyong, Doyoung, Haechan, Chenle, Mark, Jungwoo, Johnny and WinWin.
