BLACKPINK’s Jisoo and “Misfortune At Your Service” star Seo In-guk are reportedly being eyed to star in a new K-drama together; find out more!
According to South Korean media insiders (via Soompi), Jisoofrom BLACKPINK, and Seo In-gukfrom “Misfortune at Your Service”, are being considered to star in a new K-drama together. The actor’s agency Story J Company confirmed that he has been offered the male lead role in “Monthly Boyfriend”, while Jisoo is in talks to play the female lead.
“Monthly Boyfriend” is a romance set in a virtual universe where you can form romantic connections while keeping your real-world human relationships intact. This won’t be the first time that Jisoo as an actress, since 2019 she has been venturing into the film industry.
His latest work took place between 2021 and 2022 with “Snowdrop”, a series available on Disney+ that follows a couple of university students amid protests for democracy in South Korea in 1987; check out the trailer below:
No premiere dates or streaming platforms have yet been announced for the broadcast of “Monthly Boyfriend”, but the direction will be in the hands of Kim Jung Sikknown for “Strong Girl Nam-soon”, “Work Later, Drink Now” and “The Profits of Love”, available through Prime Video in Brazil.
