In less than a month, the film was seen in theaters by 63 thousand viewers. The budget of the film is 2.5 million hryvnias.
The documentary film about Nazariy Yaremchuk became the highest-grossing film in the history of Ukrainian cinema. Forbes reported it.
The film Yaremchuk: The Incomparable World of Beauty collected 9.9 million hryvnias during three weekends of release, setting a new record for domestic cinema. The film has already been seen by 63 thousand viewers, and its distribution continues.
These figures allowed the film to surpass even the Oscar-winning film 20 Days in Mariupol directed by Mstislav Chernov, which collected 9 million Hryvnias at the box office last year. However, in terms of the number of views, 20 days in Mariupol is still the leader, gathering 66 thousand viewers in the first three weeks of release.
Earlier it was reported that the film The Konotop Witch directed by Andrey Kolesnik, which opened in Ukrainian theaters on August 22, collected 11,960,941 hryvnias in the first four days of release.
