TV presenter and actor Fernando del Solar, an Argentinean by birth but who made a popular career in Mexico, died this Thursday at the age of 49, according to TV channels and media colleagues.
“It breaks our hearts to announce the unfortunate death of our loved one. Fernando del Solar”, shared on official networks the program “Venga la alegría” of TV Azteca, the TV channel on which he worked for almost two decades.
Although no cause of death was given, in 2012 doctors diagnosed him with lung cancer.
“It is with deep sorrow that I announce the death of my dear Fernando del Solar. RIP (may he rest in peace),” complained Pati Chapoy, host of the show on Aztec TV.
